九谷の名工、松本佐吉（二代）の作品。
共箱には「山水絵徳利」とあるのみですが、江戸時代後期の九谷の吉田屋窯の徳利に倣ったものでしょう。
人物が登場する楼閣山水風景が展開され、松や柳も描かれています。
