大変珍しい、犬筥（いぬばこ）が表されたうつわです。
犬筥とは犬をかたどった張子の箱で、一対となっていることが多いです。
安産や多産の象徴となり、産室に飾られたといいます。
また、この成長を願うお守りとして、雛壇に飾られたり、子の寝室に飾られるようにもなりました。
また、蓋と碗の見込中央に見える12の漢字は、二支。
そのさらに内側に描かれているのは波上の船の図で、おそらく赤壁賦の図でしょう。
状態：蓋の口縁に小ホツ。碗の割れを銀継ぎ。
